WHO I AM AND WHY I DO THIS
I am a working artist, painting and drawing every day (browse the website to see my work and more about me). And every day I go into the studio not knowing what will happen and that is what is so exciting! That doesn’t mean that technique is unimportant or that anything goes; it means developing a range of marks that give me the language to say what I feel about something I care passionately about – such as the West Cork landscape.

My past experience of helping people find their own creative voice includes over seven years as an artist-in-residence in hospices with people with life threatening conditions, as well as facilitating a range of other creative projects with adults and volunteers.  I love to share my experience and to respond to each individual’s needs quietly, supportively and enthusiastically.
